cccccccc | Tap Show Edinburgh, 2003 A viewer turning on a tap by the window in a kitchen instigated a chain of events including coloured lights, fireworks and flares visible through the window. The Tap-turner could see the choreographed light show but could not see the controls of these. Viewers outside the window, on the street, saw the back-stage performers, the cables and switches, but they were not able to make full sense of their actions until they came inside and turned the tap themselves.
